Founded by producers Bobby Bass and Josh Harris, Renegade Media Group is a sample library company aimed at bringing high quality and usable content to today's producers. We are full time producers with major label and TV credits. We feel that there are too many sample libraries out there that 'miss the mark' when it comes to content and meeting the sonic demands of everyday producing. When we sat down to start putting our first libraries together, we kept asking ourselves one question: would we (as full time producers) use our own content?

Bobby Bass:

Bobbybass is one half of the successful New York-based production team "The Orange Factory". His production credits include the #1 billboard, double platinum smash Jay Sean "Down" Ft Lil Wayne, and the 2nd Single "Do you Remember" Ft Lil Jon and Sean Paul, other credits include Fabolous ("What Should I Do" and "Real Talk" to name a few). He is also a recent signing to SONY ATV publishing. His prior remixing credits include: Usher, Chris Brown, Danity Kane, Seal and Kylie Minogue. In addition to working on the theme song for ABC's "Fast Lane", his music has also been used for shows on MTV, Bravo, E!, Comedy Central, VH1, CBS, Discovery and NBC.

Josh Harris:

Josh began his remixing career with New York-based DJ/Producer, Mike Rizzo, and was Mike's full time programmer and engineer from the latter half of 2001 until 2004. He was also a member of The Passengerz during that time, but left the group in early 2004. Since then, he has amassed an impressive discography on his own with credits that include: Seal, The Killers, KoRn, Britney Spears and Alanis Morissette. Josh has worked (or been a part of) over 200 remixes since 2001, with over 15 #1's on Billboard's Club Play Chart. He released his first artist album in 2007, called 'Distortion on the Dancefloor' (Toucan Cove/Universal). He has been nominated twice by the IDMA for Best Remixer (2007 and 2008). Josh brings a record producer's sensibility to his remix work, creating a sound that has worked very well in the mainstream club world. His music has also been featured on America's Next Top Model over the last few seasons, along with MTV shows such as 'Room Raiders' and 'Damage Control'. Recently, Josh and Mike Rizzo have reconnected under the Groove Police moniker, and have done remixes for Maxwell, Britney Spears, Beyonce and Solange.
